
Migrants Resource Centre Canada Presents: Workers Health and Safety During COVID-19

In Ontario, COVID-19 cases are rising again while immigrant and migrant workers continue to be at risk. This workshop will focus on the health and safety of workers during COVID-19. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and other related issues and changes in response to the pandemic. Through case studies, participants can apply their knowledge and understanding of their rights to their own workplaces.

The BAYANIHAN Project is a webinar/workshop series running from September to November 2020 designed to help workers navigate the new realities of workplace safety, access to community health resources, housing, income support, and immigration.This project will also serve to provide a peer support group for workers to connect and build relationships with other grassroots organizations in the Greater Toronto Area.The BAYANIHAN Project is made possible through the support of the Canadian Red Cross COVID-19 Community Support Program.
