BAYANIHAN WORKSHOPS

The Bayanihan project aims to empower migrant workers in navigating the new realities of workplace safety, immigration and access to resources. This will be done through  workshops and forming a peer support group for clients to connect with workers, youth, women-led grassroots groups. Calling all Filipina Care Workers: We want to hear your stories!

Paid research opportunity MRCC in partnership with Gabriela Ontario and York University will be conducting research on experiences during COVID-19. The goal of the project is to understand and better advocate for the needs of care workers. Participants will receive a $100 honorarium for each 2 hour focus group interview attended.
